The Route, Day by Day
Day 1: Fly from Dar es Salaam to Selous/Nyerere
Morning flight from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park (Selous)
Arrive at airstrip and meet your camp/lodge guide
Transfer to your safari camp with game viewing en route
Afternoon game drive or sunset boat safari along the Rufiji River
Dinner under the stars at your lodge or tented camp
Overnight: Safari Camp in Nyerere
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Nyerere National Park
Early morning game drive to catch predators at their most active
Return for brunch and relaxation time at the lodge
Optional activities:
Walking safari with an armed ranger (highly recommended)
Boat safari to view hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife up close
Sundowners overlooking the river or bush
Overnight: Safari Camp in Nyerere
