The Route, Day by Day
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay, preparing for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Engage in a cultural experience by visiting these fascinating communities and learning about their traditional way of life. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake and its surroundings.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater and Maasai Exploration
Travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a full-day game drive. Explore the rich wildlife in the crater floor. In the afternoon, visit a Maasai village to immerse yourself in their vibrant culture, learning about their customs, dances, and daily life.
Day 4: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park. Known for its massive elephant herds and striking baobab trees, enjoy a game drive through this wildlife-rich park, observing an array of animals and birds in their natural habitat.
Day 5: Fly to Zanzibar
In the morning, fly to Zanzibar, where you’ll be transferred to your beach resort. Relax and unwind as you enjoy the island’s stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters.
Day 6: Stone Town, Spice Tour, and Prison Island
Start the day with a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site full of history and cultural charm. Afterward, visit Zanzibar’s spice plantations on a spice tour and learn about the island’s rich history of spice cultivation. In the afternoon, take a boat trip to Prison Island to see the giant tortoises and enjoy the island’s beauty.
Day 7: Relaxation
Spend a leisurely day soaking in the serene atmosphere of Zanzibar. Enjoy the beach, swim in the turquoise waters, or indulge in a spa treatment at your resort.
Day 8: Departure
