Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Welcome to Tanzania – Your Safari Adventure Begins!

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our professional safari representative. After a brief introduction, you’ll be transferred to your lodge or hotel in nearby Arusha, the safari capital of northern Tanzania.

Take the rest of the day to relax, recover from your journey, and enjoy the tranquil setting as you prepare for the unforgettable days ahead.

Meals: Dinner (depending on arrival time)

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants

After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2-hour drive), a hidden gem famous for its massive elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and a high concentration of wildlife, especially during the dry season.

Enjoy a full-day game drive across the park’s diverse landscapes, spotting giraffes, zebras, buffalo, lions, and over 500 species of birds.

In the late afternoon, transfer to your safari lodge or tented camp located near Tarangire or in the nearby Lake Manyara region.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Forests, Flamingos & Tree-Climbing Lions

Today you’ll explore the lush and compact Lake Manyara National Park, known for its varied ecosystems, from groundwater forests and acacia woodlands to open savannah and the alkaline lake itself.

Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, blue monkeys, and the elusive

leopard as you enjoy a scenic game drive.

After your safari, head to the Ngorongoro Highlands for your overnight stay, offering cooler temperatures and stunning views over the Great Rift Valley.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Safari in a Natural Wonder

Wake up early for one of the highlights of your trip: a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World.

Descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, home to over 25,000 animals, including the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool as you soak in the incredible scenery.

In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha for your final overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure – Kilimanjaro International Airport

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and, if time allows, explore a local market or relax at your lodge.

You’ll then be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound international flight home.
