6 Day birdwatching safari

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your lodge in Arusha. Meet your birding guide and go over the safari plan.

Day 2: Arusha National Park
Explore Arusha National Park, a birding paradise with over 400 species. Spot trogons, turacos, and waterfowl around Momella Lakes and forested trails.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Head to Tarangire, known for its baobabs, elephants, and vibrant birdlife. Look for yellow-collared lovebirds, hornbills, and raptors along the Tarangire River.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the crater for a mix of big game and highland bird species. Watch for crowned cranes, kori bustards, and flamingos on the crater floor.

Day 5: Lake Natron
Travel to the remote Lake Natron, a breeding site for lesser flamingos and home to unique dry-country species. Enjoy stunning landscapes and rare birds.

Day 6: Departure
After an early morning bird walk, return to Arusha or transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
